Sometimes Maple does the cutest things. Hope the video uploads and works.

So...we got the cutest puppies

back in March and it is so hot out that we got a pool to euther give them their baths or cool them off. Neither of them enjoys the water. Today I filled the tiny pool we got them on the deck and after all of my readying the house after hurricane stuff and then grilling for an hour.. i did this!!

i definitely need a bigger pool.

Project house

My mother and brother are coming to visit next week and the after hurricane projects at the lake continue along with cleaning. With two still puppies it is difficult to find big blocks of times for projects, so I spend most of the weekends doing orojects while Neal amuses the dogs.

Some recent pictures.hmm can't get into my gallery just the phone's sim card.

testing testing again????

testing... testing.. 1? 2? THREE!

well look at that I CAN post on my blog again. who would have thought it?

Question?

Can anyone help me to put a countdown clock on my blog?  I used to just add a gadget or something like that.  there is not a gadget in the master list etc.  i found a countdown clock I want to add but i can't figure out how to do it.

this would probably be the same as putting a button, or very similar, which I cannot accomplish either.  Sadly.

thank you for your help

It takes persistance to access your blogger . com blog these days

I want to be brief
I want to rant
I want to say gosh golly gee did anyone else suffer like me?

What I will say is apparently when I clicked "something" when I got my android tablet (run by gmail account type stuffs I guess) I messed up my ability to access the internal workings of my blog!  This blog!  And while I had not been posting very often due to events in our lives during 2012, I still wanted to post the occasional fish caught or lost.

Several times I tried to rectify the fact that I had a blogger . com blog with a non-gmail address but my real, live gmail account used for my phone and email and everything else said I had not blogs but would not allow me to bring this blog over.  Apparently, I waited long enough for enough of the masses to complain and blogger . com did publish a very brief rectifying manner so I could sign in with the real life address.  Good thing I read all of the fine print or all of my pictures would have been un-linked!  And Lord knows it is all about pictures in blog land.

So IF this post posts
And IF this post is see-able by others
And IF this post is "editable" by me after it "IF posts"
THEN I will be a happy deBrat and feel that the morning of January 27th was not spent in vain.
AND I will follow it up with a link to a fabric giveaway that the winner will be drawn on Monday the 28th - tomorrow!

hugs all
denise/deBrat hoping to be back in blogger-dom after I hit Publish!
